FS or TRADE 1966 Dodge Polara 2dr MAKE OFFER
It is a 2dr hard top, the top was removed because of rust that accumulared beneath a bad vinyl top. I had thought about doing a Carson style (removable) top conversion(I have the removed top for parts), I think the car would be of greater value if a person bought a good hard top from a wrecking yard, and installed it. The left front fender has collision damage, but comes with a good straight replacement fender. Both front floor pans need rust repair, the rear floor pans are solid, the trunk floor is basically solid with very minor rust, the lower panels behind both rear wheels have some rust. The door jams, rocker panels, quarter panels, and the rest of the car appear to be rust free.
I think it has the 325 horse power 383 with a 727 tranny. The engine compartment and engine are exceptionally clean, the engine takes a long time to warm up but runs and sounds great after warming up. It runs and drives, but needs some bushings replaced on the front end, before putting it on the road. The interior is original and complete but need a reupholster job. You can view many photos at my online photo site, most of the photos are close-up and detailed and I believe they show the true condition of the car, and it has a clear title.
