I have power sliding door harness's for either side on 2001-2007 RS minivans. (caravan,Town and country, voyager) these have been reconditioned and guaranteed to be funcional. have been tested and verified to work. $70 new, $25 apeice here. if your power sliding door starts to open then suddenly stops, the wiring harness is toast.

 

That is exactly what is happening to my 2005 caravan passenger door. How hard is it for a "Novice" to change out the wiring harness???

its pretty simple, open the door, follow the wiring to the door itself, the connector is not evencovered bythe door panel. its mounted just below it. take off the two screws on the lower arm that covers the gear, you'll see what i'm talking about. pull off the push clips and the other end of the harness is just under the b pillar trim. pop off the sill plate, then pull back the bottom of the b panel, you'll see it. i could probably take pics to help walk you through it if you get a harness from me.
