Vehicle Description: This van was bought new in Nov 1992 then customized by Rainbow Vans. The vehicle has been very reliable, and the drive train is in good condition (no oil consumption, shifts good, etc). The body is in good shape for a 1993 with 180K miles... no dents. Everything works on this van. The only body repair work ever done involved the rear doors and bumper, which were replaced in 2004 after it was backed into a post in a parking lot. The roof rack ladder was replaced, but the spare tire holder was not (the spare is currently stowed under the sofa seat). The rear L&R seat belts are still in place (as is a steel channel for mounting the center belt), so the sofa can be moved back to the rear location, if desired. There is a 150W inverter, cooling fans, and power strip (in the front hi-top storage bay) that were used for entertainment equipment on trips. The side door stop was modified to allow for greater opening. The battery and tires have less than 2K miles. The following items have been replaced, overhauled, or rebuilt within the last 40K miles by previous/original owner who is a meticulous mechanical engineer: - radiator, water pump, thermostat, all hoses - distributor cap, plugs, wires - shocks - front brakes and calipers - ECM - air filter, PCV, idle air valve. I bought this vehicle on 3/5/8 for one temporary purpose; to move from Louisiana. This van performed flawlessly on the trip. I've never experienced a more comfortable driving position!
