Brand new still in box yukon ring and pinion 4.56 ratio. $190.00 obo

 

Is this for the newer rears or the older 80's and down stuff?

 

I know for a fact 1994-2001 1/2 ton 4x4 models used chrysler 9.25 axles in the rear. Im not sure what axle the older or newer models used.

 

You misunderstand, the 9.25 has been around since 1973 or so. The ring gear was the same up until about 1985-1990, somewhere around there, then they changed the design slightly to what is used through today. Let's try this, whats the part #?
