Me too but anyone got a 73 challenger near NC for real cheap. Like all rusted up missing panels and stuff. Whatever for less than $1k.

Your both more than welcome!

The Charger and Challenger I posted were found on the web, they are not mine unfortunately. All I have is my '71 Roadrunner and my '04 SRT-4, I have previously owned a '99 Neon R/T, '88 Daytona Shelby Z and an '87 Daytona Shelby Z. My dad however owns 2 '69 Chargers, '74 Barracuda, '67 Coronet R/T and a '65 Barracuda (the '65 is for sale). One of the Chargers is a Flintstonemobile, but the other is a big time show winner with a 550 horsepower 440. The R/T is a current basket case project car and the '74 Barracuda is a street/strip car with a 630+ horsepower 426 Hemi. Here is a picture of the good Charger and the Hemi powered Barracuda:

Yep. We go to lots of shows together, he's usually in his Charger and I'm usually in my Roadrunner. That picture was taken at an all Mopar show at a Dodge dealership and it was before the Charger was done, so he took the Barracuda. Last year the Roadrunner never made it out of storage, I went and started it to let it run for a bit several times, but never got it out. I think it was due to the newness of my SRT-4, both being new to me and my first brand new car and I was just having too much fun with it, both driving it and putting fun new toys on it. The Roadrunner will be coming back out this year.

I wish I had the money he has put into the Charger to put into my Roadrunner, but I don't so I will have to save and buy a little here and a little there. I was completely shocked when he tossed me the keys to the Hemi Barracuda to take it down to the car wash without him to clean it up. And if that wasn't shocking enough, I was extra suprised when he gave me the keys to the Charger after putting all that money into it and told me to take it out for a spin to see what I thought of it[sm=jawdrop.gif]. He had me take it out and do a few hole shots and run it hard to see what I thought of it....and it was nice.[sm=burnout.gif] The Charger is very nice and quite powerful, but the Hemi Barracuda is just beyond belief. I soooooo very badly want........no, scratch that. I sooooo badly need a 426 Hemi of my own.[sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif]

I almost forgot about another great find I almost had, but once again it was a matter of not enough credit built yet for a bank to give me a loan for that amount on a car that old. It was sitting in the weeds at, of all things, a drivers training school. It was a GREAT find, a '70 Challenger R/T 440 4 spd. car. I stopped to check it out and the interior was fugly with very nonstock seat skins, the hood was chained shut, but I could see that the radiator was missing as well as the top half of the engine (I think it still had the heads on it though). It needed a little body work and paint as well as other things. I called up the school to find out if it were for sale and they said that it was, but the guy that works there that has it was not there just then, so I called back the next day. I talked to him the next day and it was his son's car and it was for sale (there were no For Sale signs on it BTW). He was asking $6,500 firm, but once again not enough credit built to get a loan for that much on a car that old being the collateral.[][&o][sm=boohoo.gif] If I could have just been able to get he loans for that GTX and this R/T, I could have had it made with 3 of my all time dream cars. Oh well, I can dream can't I.[sm=smiley13.gif]
