2006 Dakota SLT 4x4 V8 MUST GO! Cheap!
Here you have a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT with the 4.7L V8. This truck is as clean as they come. I am the second owner of the truck. I had purchased the truck with 5,600 miles on it. I have kept up with the of maintenance truck and then some. The outside of this truck is spotless with no flaws in the paint dings or scratches! As you can see from the pictures i have done a few add on's including the stainless grill inserts, the hood scoops and the Dodge stripe running down the rear of the bed sides. The motor in this truck is very strong with no problems what so ever. The oil was changed every three thousand miles as required. Everytime an oil change was done i greased all ball joints. The alignment is perfect with no pulling what so ever. The wheels are all balanced perfectly.The brakes are great with you pulsation or squeaks. I have installed a K&N cold air intake system along with a flowmaster exhaust system. I have a superchips tuner that i bought for the truck to increase to mileage. It gave me about a 1Mpg increase. I put the intake on it so that the motor could breathe a little better. The factory intakes on these trucks are very restrictive and rob mileage. I installed the flowmaster exhaust kit to get a little more of that throaty tone. A lot of people think abuse when they hear the word tuner which is not the case in this truck. I had added this tuner for the economy mode which helped increase my mileage. The inside of this truck is just as nice as the outside. It has the loaded SLT package including power windows, locks, seats, mirrors. Keyless entry, Fog Lights, CD player (with MP3) and sliding rear window. The carpeting is spotless with no stains or tears along with the seats. I do not have the greatest camera in the world and for some reasons the seats look almost brown but i can reassure you that they are gray. I have had seat covers on since i had bought the truck. The stereo in this truck works great along with the Cd player. I have never used the back seat for anything other than bringing groceries home. The four-wheel drive works great with no noises or "clunks" when engaged. It engages with just a turn of the ****. What is also nice about the Dodge line of trucks is that it has a true locking 4 wheel drive in both 4 high and 4 low which gives you great control in the snowy weather. The tires on this truck still have a lot of life left in them and are still original. I would say you could put on another 15,000 before they would need to be replaced. The frame is very very clean. I have undercoated it every year before winter. I have used this truck only as a daily driver and nothing else. It has served me well and has never given me any problems at all. It has never towed anything in its life. This truck doesn’t know what work is to say the least. It has been pampered all its life . I own a professional detail shop where the truck had a coat of wax applied to it every ten washes or earlier. It shows as you can see from the pictures. Some people might say that is over doing it, but i take pride in what i own and this truck is my baby. The reason I am selling the truck is i am looking to step up to a bigger truck. This vehicle still has the factory warranty on everything and will be up in 2010. The reason the warranty is a year longer than most is because the truck was first titled in 2007. What is not pictured that comes with the truck is 4 Dodge floor mats for both front and back and the factory intake system.. It is kelly blue booked to be worth high 17's with the package this truck has and in the condition that it is in. I am asking $14,300 for it.
