1996 dodge ram 1500 v8 new motor nice truck
I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Single Cab 6 foot bed 5.2 V8.
I just put a new motor in it the motor has 90,000 miles and the truck it self has around 133,703. The motor I put in runs 100% nothing wrong with it has all kinds of new stuff.
New:
Sparks Plugs and Wires
Valve cover gaskets
160 degree Thermostat
Thermostat gasket
Upper and lower radiator hose
Oil filter
Exhaust manifold gasket
Crankshaft sensor
Distributor cap and rotor
Distributor puck up disc
Serpentine belt
Different pulleys are new
Oil pres gauge.
Temp gauge not hooked up yet.
Cb radio and antenna.
I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting.
Tires are in good shape.
Head unit with removable face plate with CD player.
It is a Mark 3 Edition Has leather seats and mark 3 rims. The truck is all black, does have scratches and the hood is faded.
Brakes are almost new all the way around.
Has dual exhaust sounds really good going down the road
Extra parts:
Have a head with intake
Fuel rail and injectors
Alternator
Oil pan and gasket
Have the old block but not sure if anything can be done with it
I’m sure I have a lot more just can not think of it right now but I have just about everything from the old motor.
Now for the bad: It needs a transmission. The truck runs and drive but there is no 3rd gear I have taken it somewhere and was told it need a Transmission Solenoid which is 124 dollars. Or you can get a tranny from a junk yard for around 100 dollars... I just don’t have the time or money to do this work to it
Gets good gas millage can drive to Pa and back more than a 3 hours trip and still have over a half tank of gas!!!!
I have the invoice for everything that was done to the truck and the invoice comes to $2239.30

Asking $3,100 OBO.
I love the truck but I need to sell it because I am moving back to Wildwood New Jersey And need the money. And also have 3 cars can’t take them all with me
