I need a bell housing that will mate up a 318 engine with a 81-86 3 speed w/overdrive transmission. The trans is a A833 4 speed that Dodge just converted to a 3 speed w/overdrive. I really think most any bell housing that will fit the engine and a A833 trans will work. The center hole is 5 1/8". This is not a big thing, I could have the hole rebored.

what yall got this in? if it was me, id look at using a 5speed. them are pritty ez to find. i wonder if they mite have the same bolt pattrn. i gotta 1992 full size van that come wiht a 3.9 5speed i bet a 3.9 bell is the same as a v8
