If you have a tuner I wouldn't worry about it. I believe the SCT is a little more power based especially since this one is hand tuned for performance not a "canned" tune like the superchips it is one tune fits all.

I have a SCT. You cannot use it on another vehicle after you have plugged it in your vehicle. When you use it on its first vehicle, it becomes the only vehicle.

WHoever buys that SCT will be buying a paperweight.

 

Unless he returned the truck's PCM he used it on back to the stock tune. If his PCM was put back to the stock tune via the SCT, then it is an unlocked SCT and can be reprogrammed for someone else's truck.

You can also send it back to SCT and pay them to have it unlocked.

However, the SCT will have to be reprogrammed for whoever purchases it own truck.

 

Thanks for hijacking my ad with your lack of knowledge of my situation or product. Truck was returned to stock via SCT programmer so it is unlocked and can be installed in any truck that is compatable. If buyer did have any issue when I bought this I paid extra for custom tunes so I can have it reprogrammed if there was an issue.
