FS/FT Dakota Club Cab '94+pics
Well, I hate to do this, cuz it's one of the few things of my father's that I have left, but I need something else for the wife to drive, so here goes....
What I have here is a '94 Dakota SLT Club Cab 5-speed, in 2WD.
It has about 119,xxx miles BUT the engine has only 65,xxx miles. If you're looking for a 2WD hot rod/street rod Dakota project, this may be it!
It's very, very solid, making it the perfect platform for a project start.
It has the 3.9 V-6 and highway friendly gears.....it gets GREAT mileage!
It currently has helper springs installed. The stock springs are still good too! Helpers were added for increased load carrying only. NOT a saggy spring fix!!
Recently installed new fuel pump, ball joint, brakes, and a few other odds and ends.
The interior is not shredded or cracked.
The only appreciable rust is a spot (oddly enough) on the hood, where the paint started bubbling and rusting. Had to be like that from the factory.
Rockers are good, fenders quarters are good, floors are good. Just a good solid truck.
Drive it and get great mileage while you're Hot Rodding it!!!
What it needs to be complete......I recently changed out the head unit, but it still needs an Infinity speaker for the driver's door. Could use some replacement door window wipers. Everything else works. EDIT to add.....I am still trying to find two of the four center caps, but for now, we'll say it's sold missing two!

Cruise

Rear slider glass
Infinity sound (cassette+EQ)
Rear Bumper could stand to be replaced too. slightly bent, chrome buckled, cracking and rusting underneath.
It has a Class III hitch installed
Clearcoat on the roof is in poor condition, but no rust! Potential owners will be able to take a good look at the truck, top to bottom. We have a lift that we can put the truck on for you to get a good look at the underside.
I want you to know what you're getting with no disappointments.
The reason we are getting rid of it is simple. Neither my wife nor I drive it regularly. (Well, my wife won't drive a manual trans at all). It was given to us by my late father, for my wife to drive back and forth to Kentucky (where he lived at that time), when she was going to care for him during his bout with cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer took him, but fortunately, it took him quickly, with little suffering. So now, if I need a truck, it's usually for hauling a car trailer with my Wrangler, in which case I use our full size Ram with better towing gears. Problem is, the Ram is my wife's daily driver. And I am currently semi-unemployed, working from home, so I don't drive very often or far anyway. I need to get another vehicle with an automatic that she can drive for times when I need the Ram.
The poor Dakota just sits in our drive, barely driven. I hate to get rid of it, but I hate worse to see it sit, not getting any real use.
I know someone needs a truck like this!!
I have it listed for sale, but really, I'd rather trade for something of equal value/condition in a 4wd automatic. I was looking at Cherokees and older Grand Cherokees. Something my wife could stand driving.
She loves her truck and really doesn't want to downsize into a car. It's always a consideration, but for now, we're sticking with trying to find an SUV (Jeep) of some sort.
Last time I checked book value of this particular Dak, it was hanging right around $3,200, NOT considering the lower mileage engine.
Throw me some offers and/or trade suggestions and we'll take a look. But PLEASE, don't try to pawn off your junk to us. This is a nice, clean, dependable, fuel efficient Dakota and whatever replaces it will be carrying my wife too and from work, etc. so I will not be taking any cobbled together unsafe, messes.
Thanks for your understanding on that!!!

Will consider trades for the right LeBaron or Daytona if in good enough condition. But, MUST have automatic transmission.
Trade considerations also;
JEEP;
Cherokee
Grand Cherokee
Wrangler
CHRYSLER;
LeBaron (FWD bodies)
Laser
DODGE;
Daytona
Lancer (FWD bodies)
