Default 09-10 Ram 18" Magnaflow Bolt-In Muffler

This is not a Mufflex kit, but it's built similar and uses the same 18" polished Magnaflow muffler they use. The welds and pipes aren't the prettiest but they line up perfect and did not leak when I had it installed. The ends of the pipes and the clamps are from the actual stock muffler. The muffler guy cut out the stock muffler and left the pipes so this can be removed just like the factory muffler.

It's been on the truck for about 10k miles. Selling for $150 shipped. It's boxed up ready to ship. PM me your email address and I will send pics.

Is that the same Magnaflow I can get new at PepBoys for less than $90?

The muffler itself is, but this has had the pipes added to the ends to be completly bolt on. The "pepboys" muffler will have to be welded in.

I'm not intending to rain on any parades here, but even if it is welded, I'm failing to see the value. A muffler shop charges around $50 to weld in a new muffler, and the muffler is less than $90. If you have a different perspective, please tell...I am interested in a new muffler, but I'm just not seeing the incentive.

Thanks!

A lot of people don't have good muffler shops that will do this for $50. I've been to muffler shops that would charge $100+ to install this. So for those people this is a good deal. Also the mufflex kit that is so popular is the same thing as this and it's $270 shipped. So yes, I think $150 for this is a great deal. That much less than what I paid for it.

This muffler alone was also about $120 shipped, not less than $90.

Thanks for clearing that up. Also, I'd like to apologize, as I just realized that what RamRunner and I were saying may have been against forum policy...to quote the sticky:

"Absolutely NO Price Dumping. This means that if a seller has a price you feel is too high, you cannot share your feelings upon the situation. No posting up that the item is cheaper elsewhere."

Good luck with the sale!

John
