Ok, I am selling my 1998 neon. it is a 4 door 5 speed DOHC. I purchased it about a month ago but ive found my way back into the j body community. The car has 188,xxx miles on it but most are highway miles. The motor has about 98,xxx miles and the transmission has roughly 55,xxx miles on it. The car has 5% tints all around, motegi racing taillight covers, vader front and rear bumpers, custom intake, header, removed cat, and a vibrant dual tip rear section exhaust. It has a fiberglass ram air hood that has a small chip off the right rear corner. The interior is all custom painted chamilion purple/green with an autogage 5" tach molded into the dash. It does need both front door panels at this time but I will get some for it if it is sold. I am putting a brand new radiator in it tommorrow and I have a new alternator but it hasnt been put in yet(It doesnt need it but I always keep spare parts around). The car drives great. The computer is out of a 98 R/T. I love it but am a big Z24 fan. It will need to be painted because as of this weekend it will be flat black primer. It was originally deep purple, is now black but the kid i bought it from painted it with universal one stage tractor paint. I'm gonna finish molding the bumpers this weekend. I will put pics up soon. it also has 17" motegi racing rims with bridgestone potenza tires, Im undecided on whether the rims are going or not.

 

this neon is nice looking i've seen it. the he bought it from did a hack job on everything but nitroneon said hes gonna fix it. it sounds really nice too. I raced it and it stomped my neon by alot.[sm=nxsmile.gif]

 

Yea, the body kit was hacked on. I'm molding it this weekend. The battery was relocated to the trunk and that was hacked. I'm fixing that this weekend with all new cable instead of the amp wire and electrical tape that was used. The door panels in front were ripped off but im gonna get new ones. Thats the hack stuff that was done. It is really nice just the body work was neglected. I am also putting on a new drivers side fender due to a small dent. Its a great car and pretty fast. i do have a high flow cat if you wanna put the cat back on. It passed emmissions without it back in december so i think it will be good.

I also forgot it has a screamin demon ignition coil, Crane firewire plug wires, and NGK laser platinum plugs.

does it have any engine work? where is the car located at? can oyu get pics? i am interested and if it is good as it sounds i may buy bc i have 2000 dollars in the bank waitin for a vehicle

 

I Have pics, do you have email? I'm in Plainfield, CT. 06374. The internal engine is pretty much stock. I am debating porting the intake manifold as I am keeping it if I cant sell it. The throttle body has been ported and polished slightly. Ive only used Mobil 1 oil. The tranny has only had royal purple gear lube. It has a centerforce clutch. I love the car but Its gotta go.
