I figured this would be the best section as this is where everyone who would care hangs out. I am parting a 88 TII Daytona. It is complete except the trans and wiring is claimed. Everything else is up for grabs. It has 88k miles. Located in Wixom MI (near Detroit). I'm looking for $400 for the engine and $150 for the IC/Rad combo. The rest - make me an offer.

 

When you say the wiring is claimed?

Is the entire dash i.e. speedo, odometer, turbo, etc all taken?

 

I'm looking for a TII wastegate actuator mainly right now for the '88 Shelby Z I use to own. It currently is giving the overboost code and the wastegate is frozen. He is also interested in other parts as well such as the turbo, door panels (depending on interior color) and many other items. Let me know what all is left ASAP.

 

I am looking for a 12 button navigator and i might be interested in the ic and rad but i am not sure will it work for my 86 c/s turbo z with a t 1 if it will let me know how much i have to do to intercool it

 

The 12 button is gone - wouldnt work on an 86's wiring anyway. You would have to do a "TII conversion" to your 86 - putting on the new style intake. You cannot (at least reasonably) intercool an older style "log" intake. I have the combo and all the hoses/airbox still to make it look stock.

 

yes the 12 button will work, heck I might have one for you in my stash...

86-89 those cars it should work in..

No...it wont. I'm looking at what they put in the 86's right now. It has a 1 row plug with 6 pins wheras the 12 buttons require a double row plug with 11 or so pins and a ground. The second gen cars (87-89) are the only ones to get 12 buttons in a daytona. 84-86 Had the 3 button chronometer option.
