Here is what I did, I have an 08 reg cab v8. I went out and bought a 97 ford escort 4cyl 5 speed. I get ~33 out of it. The truck is just my weekend driver. My drive is 110 miles a day though.

 

The truck is still for sale. I have since been relocated and the truck doesn't get driven at all. Mileage is at 13,800 and the truck is still located in Central Florida, I have since added red vinyl R/T hood stripes






Price dropped to 19,500

Need to get rid of the truck!!

 

Bump and another price reduction, I am no longer driving the truck so the mileage is the same within a few miles.

^^agreed! You have a real nice truck, don't sell it for so low! You can get more out of it.
