To put it into the uninitiated's terms, it would be like saying, "I've got this shiny gold bar that's kind of heavy. I don't like having a heavy thing just laying around and I'd prefer a smaller gold bar. Would anyone like to trade my heavy gold bar for their smaller and lighter gold bar?"



The dealership charges a buttload for tow mirrors, and the knock off brands are crap. OEM tow mirrors are very popular, but I've seen people quoted as much as $600 for a set from the dealership.

Not knocking you at all. I personally don't need or want tow mirrors for my 1500. I don't know if I'd trade them away if I had them already, but the regular mirrors are plenty fine by me. Scoring a little cash on the trade was appropriate.
