How many miles on it? Whats the difference in the 2wd tranny and the 4wd tranny??

approximately 76,000 miles and the tail shafts are different

!!! Any idea if this will fit on a '97 5.2L 5-speed 4x2 Dakota? You may have just answered my prayers if it would.

i believe so lol the gas dakotas have the same engine and trannys as the rams do. where are you located ?

I'm located at the Marine Corps Air Station in Havelock, NC so I would need it shipped. I'm going to do a little research just to double check that it will mount up correctly.

Willing to part with just the tranny. I need one for my 03 4x4. Could I use the tailshaft off of mine, or is that not possible?
