Background on car:
I am the 3rd owner and personally know the previous two owners/drivers, going back to when it was purchased new in 2002 (I even have the window sticker). I have maintained this car for the second owner since 2008. I bought it from them when they purchased another vehicle and wanted to get more than trade-in value as it needs some minor work. I have been driving it more than I expected as it is the perfect “recessionmobile” costing only 15 cents/mile to operate.
The title is clean as far as I know, and I will give you the VIN for a CARFAX
1 “fender-bender” collision by first owner (bumper, hood, headlight and driver’s side fender were replaced)
2 minor scuffs by second owner (only requiring paint, no parts replacement needed)
I will be making the repairs listed below, and price will be negotiable (up or down) depending on what I have completed at the time. I will also consider parting it out if I can get my asking price in the end.
Work Needed:
· Minor oil leak, from either oil pan gasket, front or rear main seal (approx. 1qt/3000mi.)
· New air filter
· sun visor clip (plastic piece broken)
· motor mount(s)
· (due for) timing belt & water pump
· rear brakes (squeaking)
· wiper blades replaced
· minor leak from steering rack (functions fine)
· radiator replaced (leaking from top plastic tank)
· (due for) gearbox oil change
· new tires (currently at about 30% remaining tread life)
· 2 new hubcaps (missing)
· Roof repainted (oxidized, rest of car has mostly been repainted since new)
