1989 Dodge Daytona ES $2500.00 obo
The good:
- DAILY DRIVER! 80 miles round trip per day
- Complete, NO RUST
- Clear Ohio title, located in Virginia (Military)
- 1000k miles since engine rebuild, 230k Miles estimated original miles. Rebuild consisted of all new seals, lifters, water pump, crank bearings, oil pan, oil pump, freeze plugs, and timing belt.
- Strong 2.5L motor
- Nice snow flake style rims with 90% tire tread left
- no leaks (body)
- I'd rate this car a 10 out of 10 (excellent driver)
- Upgraded manual to auto locks
- Upgraded manual to electric windows
- Good working NAV
- New headliner and visors
- Added cruise control
- AC
- 2nd Gen Digital Cluster upgrade from analog
The Bad:
- Slight rear main oil leak, 3 rear main seals installed and still leaks for unknown reason, even w/ repair sleeve
- Couple holes in rear seats
- Slight single pop from front end when backing w/ wheel turned, only happens once in a while, however new struts, axles, and steering rack. Have had shops look at, but no one has pin pointed a reason for it yet, so I live w/ it.
- AC was discharged when engine was being rebuilt, all works, just needs a re-charge
- A few of the defrost lines don’t heat, about ¾ of the defrost lines do work.
I’ve had this car for about 4 years now and love it, just have to sell for personal reasons. I’ve take great care of this car, as I do all my cars. I also have detailed maintenance log as proof listing dates and part numbers of parts I installed if requested. Many new parts to almost call this a complete restore. Paint is still pretty good, however hood has many chips. Minor scratches around the car. I'd rather not let it sit so it’s got to go.

Left it in the Daytona section for a couple of days, now I am going to move it to the sales section so it will get seen more by those looking for a car.
