WTB: Stratus floor shifter handle & links (gen 1)
I replaced the seats in my daughters 1996 Dodge Stratus. I pulled the center console so that I could clean it and vacuum everything. When I pulled the shifter handle (the T piece with the thumb button), I left the little plastic linkage piece(s) in the metal tube (shifter). When I pulled out the console, it hit the little plastic piece that was sticking out ever so slightly and it snapped off.
I now need the T handle (the part with the thumb button) and the little plastic piece(s) that go underneath it. If anyone has those parts, please let me know. Shipping would be to ZIP Code 11757. I have paypal standing by.
Thanks, Ken
Edit: Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

I have learned some information since I posted this thread. I believe that the 1995 + 1996 cars have the same shifter that I need. It looks like they switched over to a different shifter assembly in the later cars. Instead of using your thumb to dis-engage the shifter, you use a finger (the button is in front rather then on the side). If someone has the later style, I'd think that I'll need the shifter assembly as well since the metal piece will likely have the slot on the front rather then the side.
