Dodge viper rt/10 paxton supercharged engine
Well, I have owned this 1994 R/T-10 car for about 6 years and have had sooo many things done to this car I stopped counting after $80,000.00+ worth of upgrades and custom work. The interior is a "ONE OFF" carbon fiber leather with red stistching & viper logos embroidered in the back of the seats. The entire dash/interior was removed and redone having the dash also painted the same color as the car.
I then had a $1500.00 Kenwood motorized monitor radio installed which is SAT ready, plays dvds, Navigation and car is equipped with backup camera with even a monitor in the rear view mirror!
The engine is a full SCCA roller motor built to SCCA rules by Arrow engineering. I purchased this from a race team still on the engine stand and was "NEW" never raced as they had lost their sponsorship. They paid $42,000 for this motor but I picked it up for $18,000.00.
This is a GEN-II motor which I had Elite Vipers out of Riverview Florida install into my GEN-1 car. A custom injector harness had to be built..
If you wanted to you could get a Gen2 harness and ecm off of a wrecked Viper so you could run the programmable J-TEC style ecm if wanted..
I had 3.55 rearend gears installed to help the launch of the car.. Also has a light weight Fidanza aluminum flywheel with stage-1 clutch..
I then ran up on a Novi Paxton Supercharger assembly for a Hell of a Deal at $6,000.00 + $1000 labor for this car. The engine alone has 587 dynoed HP without the supercharger!!!
Bought a fulle set of 2006 Gen-III Viper rims and Tires for $5000.00 which I still have the original tires & rims put up & will go with the car..
The car has Edelbrock headers with dual Dyno Max mufflers (no cats) which sounds Like an absolute Throaty Monster win you nail the Throttle... I bought this car from a retired Chrysler computer engineer with only 8K miles and I have barely made it over 13k with the car. When I had the entire interior redone we had new guages installed and had the speedo set at 10K which was 2k less than the car actually has on it (just a little info) so all guages work perfectly!!
I am 40 years old with 2 kids and pretty much lost my MOJO so kinda pointless to have a car capable of 200+ miles an hour. I have only had the car up to 155 miles in hour in 5th gear for a split second!! When you get my age, At that speed your life starts flashing before your eyes! LoL!
