Default 98 Ram 2500 5-SPEED

I am selling my blue Dodge Ram.

This is a 98 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 liter gas. With a 5-speed trans. Very rare to find a 2500 gas in a 5-speed.

I bought this truck 6 years ago from the original owner, it had 70k on it, I have only put 30k on it it in 6 years. it currently has 102k.

The truck is a work truck so it has some scratches and a few small dents. The drivers side fender is rusty and needs replacing/repairing, it has a rust hole on the bottom of the fender. The doors are rust free, which is rare as well, usually the doors are rotted away. There is also a small amount of rust starting on the bottom of the cab nothing crazy tho. other then that its in decient shape body wise.

Now the truck mechanically is mint, I am fanatical about maintenance and have put just shy of 5k into the truck in the last 2 years.

truck has recient. brakes all the way around, calipers rotors and pads were all replaced, new exhaust, new water pump, clutch was done 2 years ago (20k on clutch),Oil pan was replaced last year because it started to leak, the power steering pump was replaced in the spring, full tune up last year, intake plentum gasket was done 2 years ago, front end was rebuilt this spring with new tie rods, ball joints ,end links etc , a few of the brake lines were replaced last year because they looked alittle rusty, new battery last year, im sure there are a few other things i cant quite remember off the top of my head but you get the point. i have put a ton of money into this truck and would drive it to florida right now if i had to.

Just yesterday the rear pinion seal that connects the drive shaft into the rear diff started to leak some fluid so i replaced the seal and got the truck back today.

I am asking $4,000 firm for the truck. so don't waste my time low balling me. I am basically breaking even on the truck with all the work i have done to it.

The truck WILL NOT come with the lightbar on the roof or the plow mount or the tires that are currently on it, I literally just bought the tires last month and paid just shy of 1k for the set.

I am only selling the truck because its a 5-speed and i don't trust any of my employees to drive it besides myself, so it has been sitting around as a backup truck not being used much. I am the only one besides my brother on a rare occasion who has driven this truck.

Call me if you have any questions. (207)232-1179 im located in Middlebury CT.
