FOR SALE: 12" JL Audio Subs and RF Punch Amps, Ported Enclosure and more!
First off, the is a LOCAL ONLY sale. I WILL NOT ship this as it weighs 80-100 pounds. Please DO NOT buy this unless you plan to pick it up. Also not looking to split the items up. Everything is sold together and perfectly matched according to RMS power ratings! Location zip code is 07735.
So I traded in my Elantra and have no interest in putting this system in my new Durango R/T! So I'm selling it. And I LOVE this system. Hits extremely hard and the bass sounds really clean. Here's what's all included:
*2 12" JL Audio W3V2 subs (300w RMS each)
*1 RF Punch 700S 2-channel Amp (700w RMS)
*1 RF Punch 300X 4-channel Amp (300w RMS)
*1 RF Punch Link (makes the 2 amps look like 1 huge amp)
*2 Distribution blocks for Amps (one for power, one for ground)
*1 Coustic XM6 Powered Crossover
*1 Slot Ported 3/4" MDF Enclosure
*1 Legacy 1 Farad Capacitor
The subs have some minor dents and scuffs on the cones, but are fully function. Subs are 4 ohm DVC wired down to 2 ohm and connected in stereo (not bridged) to the amp creating a 2 ohm load at the amp, which supplies the amps maximum rated power to the subs. I installed the Amps on "stilts" so there is about .5" of space between the amps and box to allow better cooling and hidden wiring. These amps NEVER shut off from over heating, even on the hottest summer days, You will need a 4 AWG amp wiring kit with an 80A fuse to run this set up. You will also need 3 set's of RCA's to run from your radio to the amps. Lastly, you will need a set of small metric allen keys to gain access to the amp controls and wiring. I forgot to take them out the car. Should cost you $5-10 for a set. The Coustic Crossover is for the 300X interior speaker amp which does not have a built-in crossover. Without the Coustic, the amp will send the full frequency range to your inside speakers. I was using it to roll off frequencies below 80Hz which the JL subs take care of. The distribution blocks are to split power between the two amps, plus the sub amp uses 2 8 gauge power and 2 8 gauge ground wires instead one 1 4 gauge power and 1 4 gauge ground. They are hidden neatly under the Punch Amp Link between the two amps. Also, I have all the amps and crossovers set very nicely, so you shouldn't need to tweak any setting on the amps.
This system cost me over $1700 brand new and works FLAWLESSLY. Only asking $600. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271022591524...#ht_515wt_1219
