Folding aluminum Mopar tonneau cover for 3rd gen Dodge Ram short bed
This is a folding aluminum hard cover for a 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 short bed or 2003-2009 2500+3500 short bed. There are 4 aluminum sections with 1 lock on the front section and 1 on the back section. This cover has hail damage from the storm we had around a month-2 months ago. I have brand new parts like clamps, small accessories that go on the mechanism under the cover to latch, extra weather strip, etc. However I do not have the 2 side rails or keys to the locks. I do have the installation instructions. I assume you can have keys made to fit the locks or just replace the locks. This is a Mopar cover and from the dealer it runs about $1100 I was told. Everything operates perfect and everything latchs. It is still in great shape, but yes the dents are on all 4 panels from the hail. I was going to fill them in with body filler, sand then and either undercoat the cover or gravel guard it. That is how the finish looks originally. But you can also leave this cover as is and use it if you dont care about the dents. Would be great for a work truck. Its does function as it sits as far as the locks go, you just cant lock it. I am asking $200. (<-- is that fair?)
Again you will have to purchase the 2 side rails and either replace the locks or get a key made. The rail kit is about $100 I believe. I live in St. Clair Shores MI, willing to meet within the surrounding cities of Macomb County, some of Oakland County.
