Parting 1997 Dodge Ram Laramie SLT
Uh, that is a stamped steel plate, put a magnet on it.
Also has a Chrysler part number on it, Chrysler never used aluminum.
Aluminum plates are generally 1/4" thick, used to correct the issue of using the steel plate on an aluminum intake and expanding at different rates therefore stressing the gasket and having it blow out.

You're right, my mistake. I don't know why I was thinking it was aluminum.
I have updated the original post.
VWandDodge, No answer on the power driver seat yet? I don't care if the seat fabric is torn up a little, I am mainly just wondering if the motor and switches are good and if all of that is included with the actual seat cushions. My diesel could really use it! Thanks
I'll add pictures of the seat to my Photobucket album. It all works, but after 16 years of service I'm certain the seat tracks could stand to be cleaned and have fresh grease added.
Sorry, I had another buyer lined up (local) who hasn't come through. I think he was sidetracked due to the recent storm activity.
