lebaron help!!
since there is no lebaron forum i guess it goes here.
im working on a friends car and he said he thought he ran over something, and now his engine isnt running right.
well it turns out the number 4 piston siezed in the cylinder and the rod broke and shot a hole through the pan and THE BLOCK, so he needs a new engine.
anybody got a 2.5l engine for an 88 lebaron gts, advance wants 1600 bucks for a short block!

there are an unlimited number of those style 4cyl's in junkyards. when i was in college, the head went on both my 89 lebaron,and my 91 sundance, and i had no problem at all getting parts, for very cheap. just find a junk yard engine that offers a 30 day warranty and have the whole thing magnafluxed.
