1997 Dodge Ram Wire Harness
This is a complete engine wire harness pulled from a running 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. The vehicle had no known electrical issues and was operable until destroyed by a storm. The harness is in very good condition, meaning there are no breaks, splices, or other damage to any strand of wire. All connections/plugs are serviceable and have intact seals. There may be a connector, or connectors, with a broken lock.
The harness connections/plugs include, but are not limited to, the following:
This harness may only work for 1996-97 V8 (5.2L/5.9L) powered trucks. It may work on early 1998 V8 (5.2L/5.9L) powered trucks. The harness connections/plugs include, but are not limited to, the following:
- PCM
- Fuel Injectors
- A/C Compressor
- Power Distribution Box
- Distributor
- Throttle Body Sensors
- Alternator
- Intake Manifold Sensors
This harness IS NOT COMPATIBLE with 1994-95 Ram trucks as those models are OBDI, which have radically different harness.
In 1998, the central timer module was added, and many other functions were wired differently.
This harness may work on 2500 and 3500 vehicles; however, it is the buyer's responsibility to verify compatibility.
