2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 new tranny
2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4
The truck is in EXCELLENT condition. I purchased it a few years ago and i am now up grading to a diesel.
100K miles, quad cab, short bed, bed liner, dual exhaust, Power windows, mirrors, and locks. stainless steel nerf bars, Sony CD player
Replaced transmission in the spring of 05 with a heavy duty tranny that has a 100k miles warranty, new tires were also put on at the same time. Cooper Discoverer S/T
The only cosmetic blimish is the dash has two cracks on it. I have checked on a replacement dash and they run around $75.
Asking $13,000 OBO
pics can be seen on ebay

RE: 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 new tranny
after we put the new tranny in the light came on, code P1740 is the torque convertor clutch or overdrive solenoid. I had the local dealer check it out and they couldnt find anything wrong with it, i also checked with the people i bought the tranny from and he told me how to check it while i was driving and it was alright. The light has been on there for a year and i havnt had a single problem with it. The dealer reset it and it will stay off for maybe a day then it will come back on.
