I was wondering if anyone was interested in my car. It is located in Southern Indiana about 35 miles west of Louisville. I have a 1997 Dodge Stratus ES with the 2.5L 6cyl. It has a little over 131k highway miles on it. I put 120 on it each time I drive to work. It gets good gas mileage at about 30+ per gallon. Automatic transmission with the AutoShift option which if you dont know what that is means you have the option of shifting just by bumping the shifter right to upshift, and left to downshift, but you do not have to downshift as the car will on its own if you do not. The color isnt exactly silver, but I hope to have pics up soon. The body isnt in great condition, the hood is dented pretty good where the previous owner hit a deer, but didnt hinder the drivability of the car so I never got around to putting a new one on. Also a dent in the roof not exactly sure as to how it happened, but again from previous owner. Just two weeks ago I had new brakes put on all the way around cost me 245 and me and my father put them on so they are good quality brakes this includes rotors on front, pads, and brake shoes in the rear. There is 1,000 miles until next oil change, which I have had changed every 3,000 miles. This car is mechanically sound. I am asking $2,000. Kelley Blue Book has it for 2400. If it sells for 2,000 I will leave the stereo in it I have a 200 dollar Sony Xplod single cd player in it that has different visuals on it with a remote. This would make a great starter car, and I hate to get rid of it, but I need something with lower miles because of my drive to work. No trades please.
