1999 Dakota R/T Club Cab must go
What ups fellow dodge enthusaist? I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota R/T Club Cab that needs to go right now. I have too much personal debt at this point to support it and really do what I want with it. On the clock it has 79000 miles and may have more since it is my daily driver. It is completely stock overall with the exception of an aftermarket stereo panasonic head unit. Normal wear and tear, about 50% tread left on tires. I will post pics as soon as possible/available. I would like to get about $11000 for the payoff on it, no b.s.'ing this is the pay off and will provide proof if anyone is interested. If any questions please let me know asap. im sure your trtuck is nice but you gotta look at it from any buyer prospective too. an all stock rt club cab with a majority of the option even perfect not needing anything including tires is only valued around $8500, im not trying to bash your post or anything its just a little expensive especially with gas prices the way they are, good luck on your sale but IMO your gonna have to drop the price to get some bites.
I understand that it is high priced; however im just trying to get rid of it because of the gas prices. I bought a cavaliar to save on the gas which has helped. I am not looking to screw anyone over but if I don't have this much I can't get it out of lein. If I had the extra cash to put down on the truck and lower the price I would, but do to loss of job and more bills than I can handle I want to get rid of this truck. If someone wants to take over the payment and have any type of credit then we can work it out the payments are $301.00 monthly. The only other way I can get rid of this pickup is if I claim it on insurance for some reason or another and use the extra insurance I bought through the credit union and pay it off. I am not trying to bitch but a explanation is needed for the high price. I just figure that someone would like the truck here. It is being for sale locally here in Kansas City but no bites on it either. I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for your opinion.

No offense man, but I'm with 97SWB4x4 on this
I don't know why people think this & your case in particular, just because you owe $11,000 on it, doesn't mean that is what it's worth or that is the selling price. You won't get that much $$$$ is what it boils down to.
So in order to sell it, you need to save up the extra money to cover the difference that you'll owe on the loan when you sell the truck.
If you can't come up with the difference for the loan (the money you're gonna lose on the truck), then you can't sell it....plain & simple. Cuz if someone legitimately offers you $8,000 (IF you're lucky).......you can't sell the truck anyways, because you need $3,000 out of your pocket to sign the title over & it doesn't sound like you have it.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you can't be trying to sell the truck if you don't have money to pay the difference on the loan.....because there is no way someone is gonna pay $11,000 for it. So basically it won't sell & you're stuck with it anyways.
Auto values go down...not up
Start saving $$$$ (to pay off the loan) is your best bet & then you can lower the price & sell it...good luck
