Ford 9" set up for 1990 Dakota
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but post on Neons ".org" all the time so the Neon guys can vouch for me (or you can check my feedback there). I'm posting this for my brother who wrecked his Dakota.
The truck was a 4 cylinder, 2wd, stickshift truck and the original rear end broke (along with a replacement). So my brother had a guy set up a 9" for the Dakota (It is now a "bolt in" with no welding work required). The rear end is from a 1963 Galaxy and has 3.00 gears (AFAIK no limited slip diff). It has all new brake hardware and brakes (low miles on them!). The rear end was never abused or raced, the truck was just a "work truck". However this rear end would be great for a hot rodded Dakota.
He would like $500 for it (OBO). I think he may have a few other parts including the steel wheels and 2.5L engine that he would sell cheap. LOL
Thanks guys!
