I will pay a minimum $10,000 to a qualified knowledgeable individual (preferably one in the automotive safety field) who will develop a device that will destroy the memory of an event data recorder after air bag deployment, and install such device on the new Chrysler Corp. vehicle of my choice. Naturally, this device must: 1. destroy the memory of the edr such that it is irretrievable after the airbag is deployed; 2. must not interfere with the air bag deployment in an actual crash, nor interfere with any other vehicle safety systems, and; 3. must not cause additional injury to passengers after the crash.

Should such a device prove saleable, in my opinion, after its development, I would be willing to at least share in the patent costs and financially assist in reasonable costs to take the device to commercial production and sale.

P. S. Isn't it ironic that Chrysler has named a vehicle "Liberty", that you are required to purchase with a device, usually installed without your knowledge or approval, that could possibly be used to send an innocent driver to the penitentiary? (Nothing against Chrysler, they were the last U. S. manufacturer holdout, and deserve credit for being the last to "throw in the towel" to protect their company against ignorant juries and greedy lawyers)
