F/S: New Dana 80w/disc brakes!
Hey all, I'm Shawn, just registered to the forum here. I frequent a few motorcycle forums so I have a pretty good idea about the goings on. This place looks great! I have old roots planted in purpose built mud trucks and big plans for a couple years down the road...
Anyway I'm here to put out a feeler about this rear pig I need to sell. It was slated for a fullsize tow beast to pull thetrailer andbeast in a couple years. I'm probably going to list it on ebay later tonite too, just thought I'd offer it up to you guys directly.
I'll have more specific details later tonite when I take photos and record numbers but here's a good start. It's a new Dana 80 rear complete with discs from an '02 or '03 3500 Ram. Mileage is veeeerrry low if not 0, this was taken off a display chassis. It's for a dually of course. It's been stored in my heatedgarage since I bought it 3 years ago and is absolutely spotless with the fresh factory coating on it! From what I remember it has on open differential with either 3.54 or 3.73:1 ratio for the long haul of course. I'm quite certain I have the sway bar and end links.Alsomounting plates (but no U-Bolts).
I'll have all the details up for you guys later this evening along with photos. I realize I'm new here and have no established reputation with you folks and this is an expensive item. Sorry for the delay with photos, busy holiday as I'm sure most had. It does have a 3.54:1 ratio with open diff. Everything shown, ebrake cables, factory brake lines are removed in pics, sway bar and end links along with mounting plates, sorry no u-bolts. This has a ring gear mounted tone ring for the ABS sensor. All factory torque markings are still clearly visible, I removed the right side axle when I first purchased it to confirm the diameter and spline count.
