Default 1987 ShelbyZ Daytona T-top Turbo II - $750, today (1-28)

It has the strong 555 trans, radiator/intercooler combo which is getting rarer and rarer to find, the forged TII engine, TII: intake, injectors, sensors, computer, ect... Don't know if I mentioned it has a 2.5" exhaust from the cat back and a newer stainless steel double tip muffler. That combined with a body with no fender rust that I saw and you can see why I'm pretty firm on that. It has its issues which I saw to be: drivers door looks like someone tried to break in, that door sags (I had issues opening it from the outside), needs sunvisors, right turn signals, front side marker lights, and a few other odds and ends. Doors/hatch do not unlock with the keys (maybe the reason the drivers door is damaged) It has a CD player with a detachable face, and the T-top seals DO NOT leak water (this according to previous owner, and they seemed solid on my drive). It is leaking gas as I think I mentioned. It will only leak to a point (it was not leaking until I put 9 more gallons in it...doh). I believe it to be the rubber boot between the tank and filler tube - thats pretty common and I've had to fix it before on an 89 lebaron (sister car). The drivers power mirror works great, there is no pass mirror. There is rust around the ebrake and the rest of the car is solid - this again according to prev owner, a reputable turbo-dodge afficianado. Steering is very tight, if not perfectly aligned. It has a (grant?) GT steering wheel. Horn was missing when I picked it up, but it might just be under the seat. Speaking of seat, it is a power enthusiest seat, with 8 way standard adjustment, plus air bladders in the seat cusion and back. "Wings" are power adjustable and work great. There is some crap in the trunk, including the rarer hatch cover with "DAYTONA" on it. Clutch seems great, as does the trans. Engine ran strong, boosting to fuel cutoff in 4th, and in 5th still had more than enough power for quick passing. I do not know if it is burning oil or leaking oil, but the prev owner had it parked on his nice driveway, so I doubt the latter. Well, thats my essay. I don't want you to waste any of your time. I also have a sizable amount of extras that could go with the car for an additional $100. E-mail for details. boogtc25@yahoo.com Sterling Heights MI. $800 firm after today.
