Hey guys, I just recently bought this truck with 109,xxx miles on it and last night driving home it felt like it was getting stuck in a certain gear. I don't have the time to deal with it, so my loss is your gain. It's a GREAT truck, VERY strong motor with 111,xxx miles on it.

The guy before me "said" he rebuilt the tranny from top to bottom but now I don't believe him worth two ****s. Beside the tranny problem, it's the only major one. It's got a rip in the driver side seat. Very clean engine. Here's the specs.

2000 Dodge Ram 1500
5.2L V8 Magnum
Dynomax exhuast
Goodyear Wranglers MT/R (265/75/16)
EVERYTHING works (switches, A/C, heat, radio)

I don't know what else to add. It's from texas so it's got small hail damage on the hood. and on the passenger side rear on the bed theres a dent from the P.O.

It's a great truck and I want to get 3,000 for it because I paid 5,000. Other than the tranny, NOTHING ELSE IS WRONG WITH IT. I'm going back to having an older truck.

I'm also open to trades. I'll trade for a 85-89 Toyota pick up/4runner. Let me know guys. I'm located in Accord, NY 12404. The lightbar/grille lights aren't included and depending on the price/trade the back rack and tool box might go with the truck.

 

It's showing the P1757 code, so if anyone knows how much it will cost to fix please let me know.

 

Is the truck 4x4?
