44RE Transmission
Transmission 44RE (A500), Should fit a Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler but call your local dealer to be sure.
I purchased this from a private party with no warranty, and it was the WRONG Transmission for my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee (6cyl, 4x4 – which takes the A500 42RE)
He told me it was from a 6 Cyl 4x4, which it wasn’t, The Transmission came out of a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee (4x4) with an 8 Cyl with 86,000 miles ( 44RE )
I called my friend who works at Chrysler Palmen in Kenosha, I gave him the numbers on the casting and he verified it is a 44RE for an 8 cyl jeep or Chrysler Transmission product.
