Hello all SRT-4 fanatics !! I want an SRT-4, and the 04' model, but i will settle for an 03'. I have a little problem though actually getting the car.

As of now i drive a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse rs with 70,000 miles, this is not a factory exterior car, it has 17" hp racing rims, body kit matching the car (silver), euro taillights, and an OBX catback exhaust, this car is sikk. The sound system is alpine type s door speakers, front and back, clarion tweeters with crossovers, alpine cda-9805 head-unit, i'pod ready with 30gb ipod mounted in place of ashtrey, kicker solobaric 10" woofer with huge ported box and a power acoustic 750 watt amp...dynamat liscense plate, dynamat trunk kit....in front of the car u hear nothing but crystal clear music and from the back you hear exhaust. The car has a new clutch and transmission and still has about 2400 left to pay off, i am currently working and saving up as i speak to get the title and my parents contribute 150 a month to cover the payment.

After i gain the title i intend on selling the eclipse and my parents would give me back the money that i gave them to get the title. My parents are convinced that the insurance would skyrocket, but i seriously doubt that...i just want a faster and all around better car. could someone help me out ??? let me know how much insurance would change from an eclipse to an SRT-4 03' or 04' model, i am a 19 year old male with a clean driving record.....if anyone has any comments or suggestions please let me know asap !!! Thanks a lot.

Easiest thing to do is call your insurance company and ask for a quote for the SRT-4. They will tell you to the penny what it will cost. If you are on your parerents policy, either one of your parents will have to call for the info. Good Luck.

 

in a diff thread, i heard it costs $1050 for 6 months on an SRT-4.

well, try eBay with your car dude. see what happens. put real good pics up and tons of them! more pics helps you sell it easier. pic of the sound system, the inside, the engine, exhaust and all the goodies will go a long way!
