2000 Honda CBR 600 Custom...$5,000 OBO
I am thinking about selling my baby. I love this bike and hate to sell it but I want something bigger. It was my first bike and bought it in summer of 2005 with 9,000 miles on it. Due to my inexperience and stupid people driving cars, I went down 2 months after buying it. I broke my wrist that now has a pin in it and have some road rash. There was only cosmetic damage to the plastics and my insurance took care of everything. Currently the bike has a custom paint job that cost over $2,300 and many upgrades including.......
Installed on bike....
-FMF pipe (shortened)
-Carbon fiber frame sliders
-Renthal sprockets. -1 front +1 rear 520 conversion
-RK 520 chain
-Polished lips on rims and spokes painted a gloss black
-Custom LED turn signals in passenger pegs
-aftermarket pegs
-polished gas cap
-windscreen spikes
Not installed yet....
-New EBC front brakes
-Factory pro ignition advancer
-Wheel and chain adjusters (original ones have a srtipped bolts on it)
The bike now has just over 18,000 miles on it but it is inaccurate due to the different sprockets on it. So realisticly it has a lot less on it. I recently reupholstered the seat, it had some crap on it since I bought it. This bike runs and rides great, I have had no problems with it and it always starts up. I will also be changing out the battery and spark plugs this coming weeks, to get her ready for the season. It has a newer rear tire, I put it on at the end of last season, it is a Metzler M1. The bike right now is stored at my fathers house in Alpena Michigan, but I will be bringing it down to mt. pleasant Michigan in a few weeks. I am still not sure if I want to sell it, if I can get what I am asking then I will. I dont want any lowballers, I am very set on the price. This is a great bike.
