Ok in my defense i looked everywhere before posting this question. I know it can be annoying hearing the same question. Does anyone know the stereo wire codes on my 2006 ram single cab?

The ground should be black or black/green
Yes, you have to use another wire that gets 12v+ only when the key is turned on for the remote wire.

The wiper fuse in the fuse panel is a common place to hook the remote and accessory wires. Also you can get an accessory wire in the steering column.
