Almost finished! It fell off the saw benches and cracked on the backside and I am getting impatient with the finishing so I think I am just going to carpet it. It will take a few extra hours to get it ready for paint and even then there are some lines I am not thinking are quite paint quality. I also need to make a spacer ring to go under the sub since its sitting a bit too recessed into the hole, it was fine but the glass and bondo have raised to outer height too much.

Sorry to hear about the misshap..
I hate it when that happins..
I did a 300C Dash & the paint guy dropped it after shooting the clear..
Looks great though..
Dont get down on your self,I would take the extra time to finish it the way you want..

Looks good. I think carpet looks better in alot of installs anyway.

Carpet looks good but I think paint gives a certain elegance and style. I have learned a LOT on this project so the next one will be paint quality with half the effort.

The finished product, I will post the final install pictures hopefully this weekend, I have to run a new power and longer rca's so its not just a quick install.

The lighting is terrible in these pictures, doesnt do it justice at all. The box got some condensation on it last night as the sun went down and now its got this hazy look to it in some areas, I dont know what it is but it is not going away. I will have to do another coat tonight, I may do a couple coats of clear as well.
