Hey guys, My stereo has no sound at times. The radio itself stays on and you can change stations and do everything as normal but my speakers all turn off for no reason. I thought it was the radio so I bought another one and stillthe same thing. Then I thought it was a pinched wire but the speakers stop working after alittle while of sitting in the driveway. I have no clue now. The system is all stock and Infinity. Any help would be great.

 

Couple things it could be. Some infinity systems have a relay that turns the factory amp on. Could be bad, it's happened. Also could be a bad speaker. This will cause any aftermarket radio to turn soundoff, whether it would do the same to the factory Inifinity amp, I dont know, or perhaps the radio itself is still seeing the load of the bad speaker, through the amplifier (because it's a high level input)and shutting off.

Check your speakers.
