Default Double Din Navigation in Ram 2004

I wonder does a double din navigation DVD system like the KenwoodP-NAV7015 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/pr...productId=2631
fits into a 2004 Ram?

yea that will fit, i have a 2000 ram and have been looking at a pioneer nav unit which apears to be the same size. what they do is pull out your cd deck and put that in and their is another peice that takes up the rest of the space around the unit. those are really nice actually, too bad they are like 3 grand and i jsut blew 4 grand on my stereo :-(

Any updates on this?

We just picked up a brand new Ram 2500 and are looking to add a Pioneer AVIC-D1 system-- or, if necessary, the N2.. Was curious to see if anyone has done so- and if the Ram is a 2 DIN slot- and if not, can we make it one?

Thanks!

The AVIC-D1 would not work without modifications to the dash, as it is a double DIN and the ram is a 1.5. The AVIC-N2 would work perfectly, as long as nothing is in its way when opening.
