Default Removing The Window *****

I'm planning on putting a new sound system into my Dakota, due to the fact the factory one sucks really bad and keeps cutting out on me. So question is, how do I take off the window **** to remove to door panel?

There is a little metal clip behind the crank. It's shaped similar to a horse shoe. It fits into a littl groove on the shaft the crank turns. They make a tool that pops it right out, but you can get away with a flat head screwdriver. It's hard to see, but look between the crank and the door panel and you'll see it.

Then just pop it back on the crank before sticking it back ontot he shaft when you're done, dont try and put the crank on the door, then try and get the clip in, it's almost impossible.

It's worth the $10 to buy the tool instead of breaking your car.
