Default Need help - custom wiring for Mopar dvd changer

I hope some pros out there can give me some insight. I added Sirius and the 6-disc Mopar dvd changer to my RB1. Vehicle is a 06 Grand Caravan SXT.

I am trying to custom wire a plug so that I can install aftermarket monitors to the changer. I have to wire in a play button to pin 9 and wire the video output from pin 6 to an rca connection. Anyone ever done anything like this? What do I do with the video shield and video common wires?

I have a 12 pin plug I want to use (pinouts below). Does anyone know the wiring procedures to make this happen? Thanks in advance!

12-pin Video Plug
----------------
12 06 | 12 - Video Shield | 06 - Video Signal
11 05 | 11 - Not Used | 05 - Video Common
10 04 | 10 - Not Used | 04 - Not Used
09 03 | 09 - DVD Play | 03 - Not Used
08 02 | 08 - Not Used | 02 - VSM IGN
07 01 | 07 - VSM GND | 01 - VSM BATT

K as far as the play, you need to find out whether that pin needs a (-) Negative, or a (+) Positive trigger for function.

As far as the video. You will hook the Video Signal (Pin 6) to the middle, insideconductor on your RCA. The Video Common (Pin 5) will get hooked to the outer conductor on the RCA. (The uninsulated copper surrounding the inner insulator) The Video Shield (Pin 12) Will most likely not get hooked to anything. If you're using a real nice RCA cord that actually has an outer shield, then youcan attach it to that. It will most likely look like tin foil. Even if you don't hook it to the pin on the player, the shielding will be pretty effective. It's just for interference.
