Default Slowly getting it installed.. (pics)

(Copy and paste from another forum)

Vehicle: 2004 Dodge Ram Regular Cab
Premier 800PRS
CDT EF61 + Upstage 500 kit
eD 13Kv.2
Memphis PR100.4 for the tweeters
Soundstream Rubicon 302 for the mids
MTX Thunder 250D to the sub
eDead UE & v1SE + Ensolite
Knukonceptz wiring

Goals: All of my previous stereo systems had mostly good equipment, but always went cheap on one or two things. I have been gathering this stuff since January, looking for good deals here, sounddomain, ebay, etc.. finally got everything in this week and ready for install. I am not going for being the loudest kid on the block or anything. I listen to rock and I want the stereo to have good sound quality all the time. I have always wanted an active front stage, so I will have it in this install. I will lose all space behind my seats, but thats fine. I don't want anything to stand out and look out of place, it needs to look like it belongs there. I HATE harsh tweeters too. /random babbling

On to a few pics:

I can't do much outside, due to Oklahoma becoming a rain forest as of late..

Left Amp Rack

With the amp in it..

Rear..wiring and shtuff goes here

Right Amp Rack

Amps in the rack..

Beginning of the sub box

Lil further

I quit for the night due to mosquitos about to carry me away.

The sub goes behind the center console, with an amp rack on each side. The sub enclosure is a lil larger than the amp racks... It'll make more sense tomorrow when I get it done and post more pics.

I smell like wood now.. yay.

Almost done, but my memphis amp for the tweeters has problems.. the rca input jacks dont work right, you have to apply pressure on them in odd angles to get it to work. Also, the mtx sub amp doesn't seem to work.. it is getting power and an audio signal, but no output. Trying to troubleshoot now.. sucks

Good luck on the trouble shoot!!!

I was the guy on the ICIX forums that asked you how much Edead sound deadening you put in... I was thinking that 120ft² of v1SE² would work, What do you think?

I only really want to put in the v1SE² and maybe paint on a can of v3.

How easy was it to put the v1SE² in? What was it like to work with?

I think 120 would be okay, depending on what you're wanting to do. I was trying to seal out road noise AND a loud exhaust.. but then again i used a lil of the v1 thin stuff... yeah, 120ft should be fine.

its very easy to work with.. it bends and forms to shapes quite easily. heck even the 120mil UE was easy to worth with.

Everything looks real good except the tweeter in the kick, looks like the tweeter is facing directly at your feet. That is going to through off your staging real bad, I would stick with just the tweeter in the a-pillar, it will give you less harshness as well, as you said you don't like. But if your going active I would hope you knew all that .
