Looking for information on a nice in-dash GPS/Nav unit. I have an 06 2500 MegaCab with a 6CD unit currently. Most units I've looked at don't fit my dash.

Are you looking for a Double Din, or a Flip-out? Any flip-out unit will fit your dash. But you CAN also run a Double Din unitif you want to. All you've got to do is order the factory Bezel from the dealership that came in the models with factory navigation. I believe it's like $100. Then get a metra Dash kit for a Double Din radio (Part# 99-6510) and it will fit. It will also look much more factory than a flip-out would.

 

^^ agreed, it will also save on the wear and tear on the flip out motor... I am not a fan of and flip outs for that reason... I would definitely look into the new Pioneer AVIC series nav's or if you are looking for somethign else definitely look into Eclipse's navs'
