I need to replace the drivers door 6x9 with amp attached and both pillar tweeters in a 98 Quad Cab. The 6x9s are NOT available at the dealers anymore!!! I cant find any used 1998 speakers.Can I use speakers from a different year? Say a 2001? If so will the plugs be different? I have power windows and door locks. Thanks

I purchased all six speakers from a 2001 ram on E-Bay. The wiring harness was diffrent on the 6x9's but I removed the amps from the 2001's and used mine from my 98!!! The tweet's were an easy swap!!! And now I have 3 spare speakers. Thanks
