Hey everybody just want to know if anyone out there has a new alpine head unit,cause i just picked up the CDA9887 with imprint on it (its on its way)and i want to know how you like your model of alpine for this year.

Looks real nice. The only thing bad I have ever seen from Alpine was that stupid "Glide-Touch" bull****! God I hated that with a passion!

I have the CDA-9885 seems like it powers my speakers a bit more giving them better sound...but I don't know whether it's just because I'm trying to think there's a difference. I like the full speed connection for the iPod.

Did you get the 9887 in yet, how do you like it?

yeah i got it in and its amazing, there are so many features, and the ipod connections is cazy fast, i love it, just have to get it tunes just right, is your s tuned

I think it's tuned...I really didn't know you could tune a head unit...

Yours has some different features though, so maybe you do need to "tune" yours?
