Default What do you guys think?!

As you guys well know, I finished my subwoofer install (and it sounds amazing!!!)... Since the subs sound sooooo good, it makes the door speakers in my truck sound BAD!!!

So... I really want to change out the door speakers, but I need some input from you guys...

I was looking at Kicker SS65.2's and Kicker KS693's.... I really want to keep the Kicker theme going (I think)...

What should I do for the doors, should I make a braket to fit the 6 1/2's? Or should I keep the 6x9's in the doors and put the 6 1/2's in the back? (It's a regular cab truck) No matter what, [I think] I am going to put the tweeters in the A-Pillars.

I just really...really...really wanted to hear what you guys think...

Thanks,
Shane

i would say keep the stock configuration. i havent heard kicker midrange before. i would suggest sony. i have sony 6x9 in my door and when i installed them, i tore out that black paper stuff in the door panel so you can see the speakers. i have a red truck and we all know that sony speakers are red so they go with the color scheme also. like i said i dont know much about kicker midrange but i love some sony midrange. alpine and jl audio would be my other choices. Again, just my opinion and preference

I myself prefer Pioneer 6X9's for the doors. They are a good mid-range speaker and I love the way they sound in my truck. And since you've got a sub for your lows and you are going to put in tweeters for your highs they would fit right in. But this is just my opinion. YOU do what YOU want to do with YOUR truck.

The kicker we have in the demo room at work have WAY too much midrange for me. Check outsome pionner premier components. Try and listen to the kickers somewhere and see if you like them.
