Hey guys, i already have a Panasonic CQ-C8303U headunit from my old truck and i really just love t enough to put it in the ram...
i looked on crutchfield to make sure it fits, and it says it does, but then it says my truck can't handle flip down faceplates...

Is there any truth to this? Do i absoulutly need to sell this headunit and pick up a diffrent one?

You can do flip face on those......? Why wouldn't you be able to?

 

can you post a pic of your dash, maybe theres something we can't see?
I don't see any reason why It can't.

 

I just did a Pioneer 7900BT in one a few weeks ago with a motorized flip face. No issues at all.

 

What dash kit did it recommend for your truck? 6505?

 

i dont see why you couldnt. i have installed several sony and pioneer and alpine headunits and they all fit just fine. pics would help

 

I had a flip down in mine and didnt have any issues
