Infinity Kappa install question **REVISED**
We have a 99 Durango SLT and would like to replace the factory speakers. The truck still has the factory head and amp with the 6-speaker system. So the front doors have component speakers. There are 2 wires that go to the tweeter and 2 separate wires thatgo to the woofer. To replace those, we bought Infinity Kappa 60.7cs speakers. Well, the speakers fit perfectly without modification.
Our questions...Do we need to use the crossover that came with the speakers since we are replacing the factory components???
Does the amp have a crossover built in or somewhere in-line?? Or is the factory crossover on the tweeter itself as we noticed a small capacitor on the factory tweeter???
If we need the crossover, how do we wire it since there are currently 4 wires (2 to the tweeter and 2 to the woofer) in the door?
For the rear, we bought Infinity Kappa 62.7i (2-ways) speakers. The same question for the rear...Do we need to install the crossover that came with the speakers???
Thanks in advance for your input!!!

RE: Infinity Kappa install question **REVISED**
Yes, you do need the crossover for the front speakers.

The "in" input is the original woofer wire
The "wf" input goes to the new woofer (new wire)
The "tw" goes to the tweeter (new wire)
